Privacy Policy for the iFallinLove Application and Service

What information we collect and how

Being a location based application, iFallinLove application will not work unless you permit access to your location information.

This location information is sent to our servers along with a random unique string that identifies your device and a simple timestamp. No other information about you or your device is included.

What we do with your information

This information is stored on our server as an anonymous snapshot. As we receive updates from you, earlier submissions are overwritten. No historic information is kept. No location 'trails' are stored.

If within the first five minutes of this operation it becomes clear that your device is not paired with another, full functionality can be maintained locally on your device and no further updates are sent (until you reset).

If you are paired with another user, the updates continue and, at any later time, when their device contacts the service, the distance between your last reported location and their own is delivered to their device. Your actual location is never transmitted and remains on our secure servers.

If you break the pairing, these distance updates will halt.

Resetting at any time (tapping and shaking to return to the blue heart) clears all your location information from our servers immediately.

Changes to this policy

As we ship updates to the application, we reserve the right to change the above policy to support the any new advertised features.

We commit that any changes will remain in the spirit of the original policy: we will only gather and store the absolute minimum amount of data required to provide the advertised service.
